Where Peter Stands - Community Safety

While police are the responsibility of state governments, the community expects all levels of government to help create safe neighbourhoods in which citizens can thrive. The Federal government can and should provide practical support for community groups like Neighbourhood Watch, and trial new crime prevention approaches at a grassroots level.
